Classic Case: Awesome band, and awesome show. I have heared through the grapevine that of these bands, He Is Legend had the best show, but on this particular date, I think Classic Case stole the show. The singer's voice was great, and none of the instruments were overpowering, there was a good balance. The only downside was that the set was short. I bought their CD at the show (a mere 5 bucks) and it is just as good as the show. Overall, great band.
Showbread: Just plain awful. I don't think it was their performance that sucked, I think their music in general just plain sucks. And in addition, their t-shirts were just dumb. One of them had a music note with a circle and cross through it (like a "no smoking" sign). I think this means that they aren't musical at all.
The Fall of Troy: I have very mixed feelings about this band. On the plus side, all of the musicians are very talented, especially, the guitarist. But despite this, the vocals are awful, and even though they are good musicians, they can't seem to write very good music. Oddlly enough, their fan base is huge, (most of the kids at the show were there to see them), and consists of mostly annoying scene kids who think they're the stuff.
He Is Legend: This was a pretty awesome show. They are full of energy when they play, and the crowd really got into it. They added extra parts to some of the songs that weren't on the CD that were pretty sweet. The only downside was that they had these obnoxiously bright strobe lights going throughout the show that made the band hard to see and made me feel like I was going to have a seizure.
Overall, this was a great show. I don't honestly think you can judge how well a band plays live by seeing them once, because I think everyone has on and off days.
