It was a tough time for me, they're beautiful harmonies were the only things that could console me.

Bahahaha :D When all else fails, dance around to crappy music you remember from the 90's! Remember when you made a playlist with 90's crap pop for your birthday a few years back? Nostalgia ftw. :D I am now to perve on your plays.. This sounds worse than intended :/

Your latest music recommendation is the 'IRM' LP by Charlotte Gainsbourg. Just listening to it on Spotify now. Really good - produced by Beck.

Um. Let's see. 'Crystalised' by the XX (and their whole LP, generally). 'My Step' by Little Dragon. The 'I'm New Here' LP by Gil Scott Heron. 'Norway' by Beach House is worth a listen. The whole of the new Tunng LP ('...And Then We Saw Land') is nice in a laid-back, folky way. Lastly I think the new Frightened Rabbit LP is up on Spotify, too - it's called The Winter of Mixed Drinks, which is a good title, so worth a listen on that basis alone. I want to hear the new LP by Joanna Newsom, but that, by way of contrast, is not on Spotify. Think everything else above is, though.

You might have to. However, I can't be held responsible for The Music Recommendation Machine. It has a life on its own now. We birthed it into the world and society will ultimately hold us responsible if matters get out of hand.

Could you replace the tea with a gin and tonic? That might work. You could probably effect the substitution with an alchohol drink of your own preference if you wish, within reason.

Gosh. I think you should listen to 'I Thought Of You Again' and the rest of the 'If You Leave It Alone' LP by The Wave Pictures on Spotify, and the 'Hot Toast Vol. 1' EP by Beth Jeans Houghton, and "World News" by Local Natives if you like your Fleet Foxes and then listen to the 'Songs By People We Know LP' by Stricken City. Then have a cup of tea.
