If you're up for a few new digs, check out Small Arms Dealer, Maserati (their drummer, also the drummer of !!!, just passed away and his music is certainly material one should not pass on passing on (hope you read it the way I intended on saying it, haha), God Is an Astronaut, and Innerpartysystem. My taste has been dominated recently by bands as of late, I definitely suggest you dabble if you don't already. Thanks again! I'll let you know what I think of all the new musics.

Very, very awesome -- I'm actually really stoked that you gave me such a comprehensive reply (and with links and downloads!) I've been looking for some new musical fixes and this may very well quell my appetite (for now.) I'm of course familiar with Coheed, Shabutie, and Weerd Science. Me and my friends went through a phase of listening to a lotttt of Weerd Science and as you said, it's just different and refreshing to hear. My friend's band, Lion Of Ido, they actually played an impromptu show a few years back 3 -- and that band is all sorts of dynamic. I'll look into all the other music you suggested and grab the downloads you sent my way. :]

Holy damn! 30 times?!? you must know the bands personally then! That is indeed really admirable though. I saw 3 in nyc at the terminal 5 with opeth and dream theater. I've listened to them a little while before then, but their performance really impressed me. Though i really shouldn't have went in with any less expectations. Amazingly talented band. :p

Thank you kindly. :] I have a pretty vast taste, honestly -- not limited to the heavy and obscure. :P As for music from yr scene, do you have any recommendations? I'd love to dabble.

About Me

I'm a tiny brown girl- slave to emotionally transgressive music. I fancy myself a writer and missionary spreading the good word of persevering anomalous artists.

"I've got a heart that beats for the art" -Josh Eppard

No matter how much adversity rears its ugly head, you’ve gotta do what you believe in and believe in what you do. This is YOUR life and no one can live it, but you.
