    Yeah, things are good. Went to see the National last week at the Albert Hall - they were very good but we were too far from them. They're playing in a smaller venue in Brighton in July so really looking forward to that. Can't believe how brilliant 'Squalor Victoria' sounds live. I have just bought the album, though I have been listening to the leaked version for a few weeks. I like it, especially 'England', and the sound on the proper release is much better, but they're not quite the same band that made Alligator in my opinion.

    I haven't really heard that much Regina Spektor, but I will definitely check out her new album.

    I haven't really checked out the rest of the album properly - that song leaped out at me in random play. I was just mining you for information ;-) I'm checking out the songs you mentioned now, though, and I like Flavo(u)r immediately.

    Hiya. How's it going? Looking at your charts you've obviously given AAtS a thorough airing - it must have grown on you some... I am enjoying http://www.last.fm/music/Tori+Amos/_/Curtain+Call; what are your standouts?

    Nah never heard of Fridge before, but upon inspection I see they are Hebden of Four Tet's band. Must check them out then. Electric Picnic ain't sold out yet, I haven't even got my ticket yet. I don't think it will sell out until nearer the date if at all, what with the crunch going on and all that. You ever hear of Air France? I stamp them with with my seal of approval

About Me

Blue, songs are like tattoos.
You know I've been to sea before,
Crown and anchor me,
Or let me sail away.

Hey blue, here is a song for you;
Ink on a pin,
Underneath the skin,
An empty space to fill in.

Well there're so many sinking now
You've got to keep thinking
You can make it through these waves.

Acid, booze, and ass,
Needles, guns, and grass
Lots of laughs, lots of laughs.
