i didn't catch much of BSS. do remember picking up on the familiarness of Cause = Time when outside queuing up. and the new Forced to Love, which has grown on me a great deal, when fighting my way to the front of the bar. will see them at Primavera sooner than soon though. Pavement were...Pavement. beautifully shambolic. pretty impressive really, considering the fact that this was the third night in a row in the same place. especially for guys well in their fifth decade. know what you mean about being seated at gigs. i saw The National at the royal albert hall. still...however weird and frustrating it was having to sit through it - especially Mr. November - it was the most amazing show of my life. still flying high. did you manage to catch them? Dec 1st in the all familiar Brixton Academy. but i know you know.

Yeah, I confess that I perused your events and noticed that I hadn't marked myself as having gone to that. ☺ I shall see you at ASMZ! Still trying to muster enough enthusiasm to go to the Groening ATP...

Set up a massive PA on the roof of a building next to a GUADEC party. It's the only way to be sure.

About Me

'Nothing ever stands out. You have to look for anything you might like. Clearly you have given up looking...I think you're a defeatist and you are destined not to enjoy music. If you wait for other people to thrust music under your nose, you'll be listening to nothing but crap for a long while, because that's what gets thrust at us. Music is not a spectator sport.'

You told me you cry at Snow Patrol
I said I did too and we just left it at that.

People are so convinced we can't have peace that it's a joke now. Nobody believes in peace. It's a nice idea. It's meaningless. It's never going to happen. And we live in this hellhole, and we think it's got to be this way. But what if we're wrong?
