I know it's a cliche, but I really do like just about every type of music there is -- yes, even rap and country. From the most complex, experimental material to the simplest of party anthems. From classical on up through jazz and blues and into rock, hip-hop and electronica.
I'm big on music history too. Everything that's been heard, is being heard right now and will be heard in the future can all be traced backwards like reading a family tree. I love that. I probably spend as much time researching music as I do listening to it.
