Actually I prefer the Final Fantasy IV soundtrack, but VII was definitely good. Because I have the whole soundtrack and most of the songs are 40 seconds long it's in my top ten. Those ranking can be deceptive; The Beatles are my number one band, but I probably spend far more time listening to Maiden because their songs are at least twice as long on average.

I really like them. If you haven't listened to them yet, try the first or the latest album first. The second one was ok but can't compete with the others if you listen to it often. The Omaatuq singer was my first interview partner in a facetoface interview, we were both a bit drunk at that time because we did the interview after a long concert evening.
