Ok... I just have to tell you this. The band called Annuals that you were just listening to, they are from my small town in NC. It's a small world after all...

I have a Super match with you too, which is weird b/c I haven't listened to any of your weekly top artists lately. I saw DMB in concert last June.. they were awesome. So you're going to BDO? That's awesome... The Killers are amazing.

I couldn't think of anything else so I'm going to randomly throw out Neil Young.

Hi there! I see I'm your top neighbour : ) I love Ezio! Where did you hear about them? I got hooked when they toured SA in 1995 (and got to party with them!). Immi is a bit of an obsession. I saw her for the second time on the 4th of October and she was amazing- I am besotted! : D Oops, this is supposed to be a shout-box and this is turning into a very long shout.....

About Me

www.striveseekfind.com

Hi my names Michael

I'm a South African living in Perth, Australia missing living in SW London! So please forgive my need to reach out to somebody from the murky isolation that is dullsville Perth!

I love music but have a staunch belief that the corporate beast that is commercialism globalism technology has seen music reach a critical mass. I believe the Arctic Monkeys say it best. "There's only music so that there's new ringtones." As a result it's losing its power to persuade; hearts, minds, love and loss.

Let's ressurect that!

Musicians have been called the prophets of our time but their voices are drowning in the cocaphony of disagreement pervading its listeners need to define themselves by their musical allegiance, hipness, up-to-dateness or obscurity.

Just admit to loving those tracks you are embarrassed to admit listening to. Your music defines you but don't let it exclude you! Try something new and give it time, you don't know it all. I have to remind myself that all the time!

In that vein can I have a skull thrash, sing hallelujah, hell yeah or emo fringe flick for the brilliance of this medium we now enjoy. Last FM is a much needed breath of fresh air. Turn off your radio until it changes to reflect our diversity and long live LASTFM.

My eclectic score is currently

74/100
