Yeah, it was a solid show, almost too much banter! I wanted some more rockin' songs, but the new material sounded awesome and glad to have the full group stateside. Glad I opted with the electric show this year since they were having some vocal problems. Glad you enjoyed it.

OMG! No Age has passed Mekons to gain the #1 spot on my overall list!

Unfortunately, Brooklyn was my first Mekons show. I thought it was great, but I heard the electric set the next night was 10x better, but I met a bunch of them that night and I thought it was a great show. I look forward to seeing them electric next year...with Tom I hope...good times though...great venue...

In some ways Weirdo Rippers vs Nouns feels like Surfer Rosa vs Doolittle. All four are great, but I prefer the rougher, earlier album in each case.

My friend Cindy saw The Feelies the other night in NJ--she's too young to have seen them back in the day--said they were right on.I keep hoping they announce/play a Boston show, as promised :) I hope the weather holds!

wire vs no age, win goes to no age; wire ended up at 73 and no age is at 90 with a month to go until the concert
