About Me

My Group:
People That Don't Like Joining Groups

---------------------------------------------

About Me:

By the looks of my lists you would probably think I'm stuck in the three decades prior to the 90's.

And you would probably be right in making that statement.

Over the last year iv spent a bit more time appreciating music when it was a bit simpler, when guitar could be heard, rather than being drowned with several kinds of distortion, and bands weren't overly concerned with pleasing their record labels with over the top gimmicks.

Which isn't to say that i have a strong distaste for metal, because i don't. Everyone has their little music phases, and my metal phase has taken a step back for a while.

When i'm not listening to Phill, or Fleetwood i love bands like Lamb Of God, Children Of Bodom, Fantomas, Dillinger, Opeth, Dark Tranquility, Megadeth, Ozzy, Ect.

It seems so cliche to say that you love the likes of pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin these days, But I'm quite proud to say that my phase was quite some time before the Wolfmother fan base decided to claim these amazing bands as their own.

Bands that make me want to forget that music ever existed:

-My chemical romance
-Panic at the disco
-Bloc party
-Fallout boy
-Green day

I could rant on for quite some time on why these bands don't deserve to live any more, but the main reason is that they are filling my head with shit. Not the kind of shit you can avoid, the shit that gets thrown at you every time you try to sit down and watch t.v, or the shit that you try to step over while walking down the road and some fucking emo is pounding his stereo speakers with the latest emo cover of a classic hit.

People that make me think that music never existed:

-People who say "yeah iv heard of the doors, or led zeppelin"
-People who say "yeah i like him" when asked if they like pink Floyd

FUCK! GET A CLUE!

Long story cut short, if it busts off a solo, rocks out, chills down, hasn't got artists that out do each other in the make up and clothing department, and doesn't repeat a kick drum 20 fucking thousand times a minute to synthesizers and modulators, then i might be interested.

I hope your eyes are still in their sockets!
