The presence of Broken Bells and Eels on your recent tracks suggests to me you should take your own advice. Get some Katie Melua down ya neck!

Why on earth does Lastfm think we have "super" compatibility? Surely that's bollocks! We barely agree on anything musical!

Sony's Fantasy Festival is a good laugh if you need something to do for 10 mins! Much better than I thought x http://fantasyfestival.last.fm/invite/?key=0da199a8a762e727684ec74820dc8914&r=leeroybr

So I have this weird thing where I don't really like any music made before about 1978, ie the advent of post punk. I'm not counting classical and jazz here, just popular music really. The only two artists I've found that made the majority of their music before this that I quite like are The Velvet Underground and Nick Drake, so obviously these two don't count. I need another 5. I can't just write off a good four or five decades of music like that, it's ridiculous. There's got to be some good stuff in it. Aaaaand... 1. I like Simon & Garfunkel. Who knew. I got a copy of the Definitive in the post this morning and I've been listening to it pretty much all day. It's really good. Ctrl+P = win.
