As for my French, I studied French -and german- for about 3 years before doing hebo, and indeed took french advance at hebo but the only thing I was able to learn from those hebo years was to repeat "donc" & "alors" once every 3 words. hehehe.. I've been doing quite awright so far, at least I can have a proper conversation on the streets without being laughed at. I do still have a spanish accent though, but well, it gives charm to it all I guess.
