About Me

Kevin Spidel is a political consultant who recently led the Denounce Torture campaign for Amnesty International in Washington DC. Previously he has worked with the ACLU and the Hip Hop Caucus. He has also served was the National Deputy Director and co-founder of Progressive Democrats of America.

In 2006 he was the Campaign Manager Christine Cegelis' bid for U.S. Congress, which garnered major attention from netroots and larger national media. He was the Executive Director and founder of Progressive Vote which merged into Progressive Democrats of America at Roxbury Community College in Boston, MA during the 2004 Democratic National Convention. He was the National Political Director & National Field Director for the Kucinich for President in 2004. His political career started out as a Western Field Organizer for Amnesty International, USA. He worked to lobby against the Death Penalty and worked toward building coalitions of faith based communities on the issue of Death Penalty Abolishment. He went on to serve as a grassroots field trainer for Amnesty International and has taught many grassroots workshops on various issues from partisan work within social justice movements to organizing large scale multi-state lobbying efforts.

Currently he a partner of the political consultant firm BlueDynamic out of Phoenix, AZ.
