You didn't know!? Yeah, it's terrible. He's released a couple of documentaries on it as well. Such a great mind being eaten by a cruel disease. ;_;

Yeah man. He's awesome! I think many people have the perception that he writes mainly about religion, but it's the minority of his stuff. His political and cultural stuff are fantastic. His essays are ace. Such a fantastic writer. His case always reminds me of Terry Pratchett, who has Alzheimers. There is no justice. :(
