TheFlyingPanda HA--well, my stats are all off because the new Mirah album is so great, I just keep listening to it on repeat. BUT that is still a good enough reason for a visit when I get the cash together to make it out to the West coast again. I miss you, buddy!

YesJess Hey there, we do seem to end up at a lot of the same shows! The Okkervil show @ Webster was one of the best I've been to. And I'm beyond excited for Will Sheff's show! That Bon Iver show you're headed to is going to be amazing. Wish I got a ticket before it sold out! Anyways, kudos on good music taste!

I live in Seattle.
I make video, shoot photographs, tumble blog, write silly pop songs, and work with kids. I want to make a difference.
I grew up listening to oldies and the music of my parents: My dad played Pink Floyd and the Beatles while my mom played Paul Simon and Joni Mitchell. I never rebelled in the way you hear about kids doing. I embraced the music of my parents and still listen to many of the artists they introduced me to. Since then, I've met a lot of wonderful people who have broadened my horizons. Without seeming insincere and cliche by saying "I like all music," I think it would be fair to say that I give every recorded thing a chance. I find that I'm particularly drawn to folky-type rock bands, though.
