Well, being Pavement they decided to be different this time as well, so its an untypical greatest hits with some b-sides or less famous songs too. There are hits such as Gold Soundz,Cut your hair, Range Life etc but they put more songs from the first 2 albums and just one from their 5th and last album. But yes, that could be a good point of start. Otherwise get yourself Slanted & Enchanted if you are into noise rock/lo-fi or Crooked Rain Crooked Rain which is slightly more commercial

Thank you my friend. Hugs right back. Stupid weather canceled my travel plans, so I'm stuck in NYC solo for Christmas tomorrow. But... I'll be in Chicago on Saturday with any luck! Hope you have a good holiday! So jealous you're seeing the Davidians! They NEED to come to NYC. Terri backs me up on this, I have no doubt!!!

About Me

"Out all night, chasing girlies. You're late to work and you go home earlies" - "Chinatown" by Luna.

"I shall exterminate everything around me that restricts me from being the master" - Electric Six.

"Bat macumba!" - Os Mutantes.

"Do the vampire!" - Superdrag.

"Cuando el mundo tira para abajo es mejor no estar atado a nada". - Charly García.

"I remember when I was 16 years old and I moved to New York City, I met this square girl and one day went to her house to try and fuck her and stuff. She was very pretty and clean and nice and she was older. She introduced me to some of her boring college friends who were going to Brown University. At 16, I already owned 4,500 albums. Some of them, I worked whole summers to buy. I loved my records, 4,500 records is tons of music to like. One day, I go on this trip with this girl and her friends; it's the late seventies, the beginning of really bad radio on the East Coast. We're all driving in a car and the radio is blasting some shitty music. I make a few comments about the music and begged them to change the channel, telling them; "this crappy song is killing me". They all gave me dirty looks and one of them says; "you're so negative, you don't like anything". And I thought to myself, "I don't like anything?"...I spent every penny I ever made in my life on records, and because I'm not satisfied with main stream radio, I'm negative?" - Vincent Gallo.

"Rock music is a vehicle of anti-religion". - Pope Benedict XVI.

"I went out there in search of experience. To taste and touch and to feel as much as a man can before he repents". - Johnny Cash with U2.

"I am the last of the famous international playboys". - Moz.

"Love is a snowmobile racing across the tundra and then suddenly it flips over, pinning you underneath. At night, the ice weasels come". - Matt Groening.

"If I'm good I can add years to my life. I'd rather add some life to my years". - Jason Pierce (thanks Kev).

"All clichees are truisms, and all truisms are true". - Jack Kerouac (Big Sur) (thanks Gray).

“Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son” - Dean Vernon Wormer (Animal House).

"Frankly, we feel your American beer is a little like making love in a canoe... it's fucking close to water". - (The Drunken Philosopher's sketch) Monty Python at the Hollywood Bowl.

"I think if you're remotely intelligent you can't help being depressed. It's a positive thing to be. It means that you're not a crashing bore. I mean, you don't get support groups for rugby players, do you?" - Moz again.

"You used to think about magic and how to fit in, now you think about madness and how to stay thin". - Graham Coxon.

“Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action". - Auric Goldfinger.

"I've been told that i think too much. That's wrong, I just happen to be incredibly smart and that has never been a bad thing to be". - Russell Brand.

"Mellow? You wanna be mellow? If you wanna be mellow then turn yourself into a piece of cheese! Trouble with being a piece of cheese, is that someone is likely to spread you on a cracker and eat ya. No, I am not mellowing". - James Ellroy.
