In the past six months, you've listened to maybe five or so artists that I really enjoy: Beck, the xx, Andrew Bird and Jay-Z. Oh, okay, and Jimmy McLoud is a decent artist too, so I've heard. You probably haven't heard the new Beach House yet, have you?

yay! it'd help if you listened to music with balls to expand its sound. your top 8 are all neatly shaven men with daring good looks. oh wait, you're one. anyway, sometimes you need a band with beards, or that look like they just woke up in the gutter and intend on playing to you the damndest tune. also, some ambient or even danceable electronic wouldn't hurt. you know, the essentials. this year, the best are animal collective, grizzly bear, dirty projectors and phoenix. why didn't you ever really listen to fleet foxes even? i know you'd like those bearded harmonizers.
