Oh my, sorry this is such a late reply! Harvest was amazing, I somehow got roped into dancing on stage in a Dorothy from Wiz of Oz dress with The Flaming Lips, which was an interesting experience. The National are pretty phenomenal aren't they? Fantastic live!!

What!? They don't play Illumine? It's such a lovely song, the build up to it is just perfect! I hope they play it live. I'l share my complete review with you next month. I can't wait. Not many bands come to India you see :P But I was lucky to have Porcupine Tree, Katatonia and (now) Karnivool! :) I'd like to recommend you some artists, if you don't mind.. I went through your charts and I thought you'd like a few albums that are really dear to me - 1) Fables (Fair To Midland), Building an Empire (Demians) and Eidolon (Rishloo). I hope you can give these a listen soon :) Building an Empire Is my personal fav. But Fables and Eidolon have a lot of Karnivool that you'd hear.. Give em a try.. Take care!

Ok, its 6 in the morning here.. I had to come here and tell you how I felt of the albums.. I've been listening to both since over 2 weeks now.. Sound Awake more recently though. At 1st, Themata sounded like a mix between Rishloo and FTM, so i was very glad :P Of course there was a lot of originality i heard. Shutterspeed was an instant winner, along with L1fel1ke. Really enjoyed both - overall, the album was really impressive and there were great moments in them that made it a fun experience, I could go around playing it all day long :) On the flipside, as you said rightly - Sound Awake was a much superior 'album'. Oh, I just got done listening to it entirely. There's such a mature balance of all the 11 tracks on the album.. Each sounding stronger than the other. Especially the last 4. I wasn't expecting such sound to be honest. I was blown away! :) Thank you my friend for the lovely recommendation :)

Hahah! Actually?!! Are there a few torrents that you could send to me, I'll watch em :) I'm getting really excited already!! not many artists come here dude.. I wouldn't blame them, the rock scene here's pretty dry :P But we're getting better :) After Porcupine Tree came here 2 yrs ago, we have soo many genuine fans, it's shocking! I envy em at times, cause I thought I was the only one once upon a time! hahaha!!! :D But, oh well...... I hope Karnivool gets the same response :)

It was just...beyond amazing, which sounds so corny aha. I saw the Thursday show too which was great as usual, but on Friday the crowd was so wild and Vool really fed off that energy. It was really really brilliant!
