I have severe anxiety and depression issues, I'm often in pain and I usually just want to be left alone with music. And my pets. I love my pets, I love animals and I'm a vegan, no compromising that. I live in Northwest Indiana, sandwiched between Chicago, IL to the NW and the Jackson family's old house a few miles to the east.

More often than not, my charts are estrogen-fueled and they change a lot. For example I might be listening to mostly singer-songwriters for a couple of weeks, then obscure 80's pop for awhile, then classic rock for a few days, Latin music for a month, etc... sometimes it mixes up strangely for a long time, sometimes I'm obsessed with one artist. I never know what I'm gonna be in the mood for. I'm always up for hearing new music of (almost) any genre from anywhere in the world, though usually I prefer to search and discover myself rather than be recommended to.

I believe there is no such thing as an invalid opinion regarding music. Music snobs, get over yourselves. What a joke. No, your taste is not better than mine, nor is mine better than yours. It's all subjective and all the same.

I just want to send a shoutout to the memory of so many great musicians we've lost over the years. The list seems to be increasing more rapidly than ever and overall, music isn't what it used to be even as little as ten yeas ago. Gone but never forgotten, the classics, the songs that touch our heart, that bring back memories, will live on forever...
