Geez, there are more gigs? So jealous! I found Balmorhea, Flies are Spies from Hell, Sleepmakeswaves and some other bands from your profile.. I listened to your library radio for a little while, a lot of nice stuff in there! Ever since I suscribed to Last.fm I've discovered such a huge amount of new music, I'm loving it!

:) there's simply too much great music yet to discover.. I've always had problems deciding for either this or that or completely another artist, and in the end I'm finding back to my old but true musical companions.. or I'm suddenly and unexptectedly discovering a new musical pearl (rcurrently: throes of dawn. considering your love for anathema, I could imagine that you might like them :)). seems to be only depending on what your feelings tell you

hello fellow post-rocker :) I strongly advise you to check out collapse under the empire :) (albums: "systembreakdown" & especially: "find a place to be safe") I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed.. the artist that appears to be most similiar actually is god is an astronaut..

Haha, I loved your "About Me". ". People who use Last.fm as if it were Myspace piss me off." Too true, well said!

About Me

Please don't try and add me as a friend without saying a word to me. Thanks. =]

About me, eh?

Name is Dan. Favourite band is Anathema. Favourite genre is Post-Rock (although I class way to many bands as post-rock). I fucking hate pop-rock and powerpop because pretty much every band sounds the same.. it's the whiny vocals that do it. I love going to gigs but I cannot overstate how much I hate trying to find parking for said gigs. It is one of my very few, very mediocre goals to go to at least 1 festival abroad. Germany or France seems to be most likely. I work a boring as shit job so I can one day afford this very lackluster goal. 65daysofstatic are the best live band you will ever have the fine privilege of seeing, closely followed by And So I Watch You From Afar. People who use Last.fm as if it were Myspace piss me off. There is more free music at the tip of your fingers than you could ever listen to, make use of it you fucking douche bags, instead of over-inflating your friends list with scene girls you've never spoke to and will never meet. I would talk about more things I hate but I feel I would have to punch myself in the face just to take out some of my frustration. I like heights. I like sun sets. I like being alone. I like jet skis. I like camping. I like Pepsi Max. I like the sea. I like taking photographs, although I hate fake photographs. I like Sennheiser headphones. But most of all, I like you. :)

If you think I might like a band, please let me know. I'll try and return the favour.

Vincent Cavanagh once threw a pen cap at my face. True story.
