Yeah, I hear ya. I still get a bit of that social component from that group I'm leading - it's not too active though. As long as the player's working, everyone's kinda quiet. I can't get Pandora here without a proxy (a bit of a hassle IMHO) but I did use it for a couple of months in the beginning before it locked out Japan. Yeah, I Agree: the good old days were fun while they lasted! BTW do you use reddit? I just lurk there, but I use imgur, and it can be a good distraction at times: http://imgur.com/gallery

Sadly Tomoyasu Hotei has already been used on a real Tarantino OST... BTW. Another cool 60s tag:

Hello old friend! Some strictly recommended "Class 1" tag radios: a) b) c) (best tag radio for making love to - IMHO)

Just a friendly 'how are you doing?' Ever since they mucked with the interface, very few people use last.fm like they used to. It's very indicative of where they were heading when they placed the shoutbox at the bottom of the page vs. on the right. I know that the service is in trouble as they are pulling some of their streaming services. It's a shame as this was the first great 'web 2.0' product and they killed its importance. Oh sure, I still scrobble relentlessly, but I don't get my new music via last.fm any longer. From 2004-2008 95% of my musical discoveries came via this site. Now, I have to sift through other sites to find something.

Wow, shout No. 3333 below! In Germany I'd have to pay for a round now. (If you should ever come to Berlin...)

About Me

I like it edgy, original, heartfelt, masterful, and eclectic!

I stopped listening to Top 40 in 1974, when I got my first FM radio and started listening to WUVT, Virginia Tech's independent college radio station. College radio changed my life, and I like to think that you can see the college radio ethos in my playlist.

My stats follow. Every calculator is flawed, so at best they give you a dim clue about listening habits. But we all like these stats, flaws and all, myself included. So here you go:

AEP: out of 5

Eclecticism Score: 97/100

Super-Eclecticism Score: 709/1000

intpmann's 100,000th track was
Soldier's Things by Tom Waits. It was off of the album Swordfishtrombones

Playing an average 78 tracks a day, I will reach 200,000 tracks on the 21st of July 2012. I will be 55 years old.

I will reach 500,000 tracks on the 19th of February 2023. I will be 65 years old.

I am nerdier than 89% of all people. Are you a nerd? Click here to find out!"

Big Five Test Results
Extroversion results were moderately high which suggests I am, at times, overly talkative, outgoing, sociable and interacting at the expense of developing my own individual interests and internally based identity.

Orderliness results were moderately low which suggests I am, at times, overly flexible, random, scattered, and fun seeking at the expense of structure, reliability, work ethic, and long term accomplishment.

Emotional Stability results were moderately high which suggests I am relaxed, calm, secure, and optimistic.

Accommodation results were moderately high which suggests I am, at times, overly kind natured, trusting, and helpful at the expense of my own individual development (martyr complex).

Inquisitiveness results were high which suggests I am very intellectual, curious, imaginative but possibly not very practical.

Advanced Global Personality Test Results
Stability results were moderately high which suggests I am relaxed, calm, secure, and optimistic.

Orderliness results were moderately low which suggests I am, at times, overly flexible, improvised, and fun seeking at the expense of reliability, work ethic, and long term accomplishment.

Extraversion results were moderately low which suggests I am reclusive, quiet, unassertive, and secretive.

Trait Snapshot:
secretive, reclusive, messy, disorganized, introverted, unassertive, rarely worries, dislikes large parties, does not like to fit in, does not need to control others, solitary, ambivalent about chaos, tough, leisurely, does not respect authority, not aggressive, observer, abstract, impractical, dislikes leadership, daydreamer, bizarre, does not make friends easily, not a perfectionist, suspicious, rarely irritated, strong physical instincts, unsympathetic at times, risk taker, submissive, weird, sarcastic, strange

Now if the Big Five Test Results and the Advanced Global Personality Test Results could just agree on how extroverted I supposedly am, I wouldn't be so confused. Between the two of them I'm overly talkative AND reclusive... So does that mean I talk my own ear off?
