About Me
I like it edgy, original, heartfelt, masterful, and eclectic!
I stopped listening to Top 40 in 1974, when I got my first FM radio and started listening to WUVT, Virginia Tech's independent college radio station. College radio changed my life, and I like to think that you can see the college radio ethos in my playlist.
My stats follow. Every calculator is flawed, so at best they give you a dim clue about listening habits. But we all like these stats, flaws and all, myself included. So here you go:
AEP:
out of 5
Eclecticism Score: 97/100
Super-Eclecticism Score: 709/1000
Playing an average 84 tracks a day, I will reach 200,000 tracks on the 16th of January 2012. I will be 55 years old.
I will reach 500,000 tracks on the 8th of November 2021. I will be 64 years old.
I am nerdier than 89% of all people. Are you a nerd? Click here to find out!"
Big Five Test Results
Extroversion results were moderately high which suggests I am, at times, overly talkative, outgoing, sociable and interacting at the expense of developing my own individual interests and internally based identity.
Orderliness results were moderately low which suggests I am, at times, overly flexible, random, scattered, and fun seeking at the expense of structure, reliability, work ethic, and long term accomplishment.
Emotional Stability results were moderately high which suggests I am relaxed, calm, secure, and optimistic.
Accommodation results were moderately high which suggests I am, at times, overly kind natured, trusting, and helpful at the expense of my own individual development (martyr complex).
Inquisitiveness results were high which suggests I am very intellectual, curious, imaginative but possibly not very practical.
Advanced Global Personality Test Results
Stability results were moderately high which suggests I am relaxed, calm, secure, and optimistic.
Orderliness results were moderately low which suggests I am, at times, overly flexible, improvised, and fun seeking at the expense of reliability, work ethic, and long term accomplishment.
Extraversion results were moderately low which suggests I am reclusive, quiet, unassertive, and secretive.
Trait Snapshot:
secretive, reclusive, messy, disorganized, introverted, unassertive, rarely worries, dislikes large parties, does not like to fit in, does not need to control others, solitary, ambivalent about chaos, tough, leisurely, does not respect authority, not aggressive, observer, abstract, impractical, dislikes leadership, daydreamer, bizarre, does not make friends easily, not a perfectionist, suspicious, rarely irritated, strong physical instincts, unsympathetic at times, risk taker, submissive, weird, sarcastic, strange
Now if the Big Five Test Results and the Advanced Global Personality Test Results could just agree on how extroverted I supposedly am, I wouldn't be so confused. Between the two of them I'm overly talkative AND reclusive... So does that mean I talk my own ear off?
