Heyo I'm going through my friend list to get the word out about this great new band (Black Valentine) I've come across. They have a bandcamp site http://blackvalentine.bandcamp.com/, and for the moment are giving their music away for FREE. Kind of garage lofi electro pop. Oh and they're from Iceland. Incidentally, I found them through gogoyoko.

Oui, mon nom fait assez Canadien français (et le tien aussi) haha. Presque la moitié des supporters du NPD et de Jack Layton sont Québécois de toute façon, fek c'est un bon guess :)

Hehe, I'll have to remember that. I just checked on Google maps and saw how far apart we are. I traveled to Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce by car for work a few months ago, probably the closest I've been to Lévis I suppose. Great trip, beautiful scenery.

About Me

RIP John Gilbert Layton (1950-2011)

This videoclip tells a lot about the way I see life. See it for yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuVOsCF4DWY

Of all the living things on Earth, humans are the ones who own the biggest potential to life appreciation but also the ones who make the worse out of it. Instead of enjoying life and its diversity and everything wonderful it has to offer, most of the human individuals sacrifice precious time of it. Instead of contributing with original and thoughtful ideas, some of them use all of their time and energy to either follow the masses in a sort of trend that makes them feel safe not to be any different than others, making them feel safe and not alone in a collective destiny. Instead of contributing to the social cohesion and loving others, some individuals waste all of their time and energy in bringing hate and violence all around them. Why does it have to continue this way? Every single one of you can make a difference in ending this mess. Every single one of you can help fighting against ignorance, conservatism, racism, religions, capitalism, war, violence, and everything you can think of that makes us embarrassed of being such a gifted animal in power, but a not so powerful animal in reality. If there is something that my life on Earth is worth, it's to contribute positively to my environment, not negatively. It may make instant sense and logic when you read it, but this way of thinking hasn't made its way to the minds of the actual society yet. This said, I love you all!

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the darkness at Tan Hauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain. Time to die." -Roy Batty
