Know the difference: I didn't call Satriani progressive, I called you a proghead ;)

Thanks! I appreciate you taking the time to give feedback! The music on there is me experimenting, and no experiment is a good experiment without critical evaluation. :) Cheers!

Hey! How are things? I just thought I'd ask you to take a listen to what I've been meddeling with musically lately, and tell me what you think of it. Since this summer I've been really into beat-oriented music (as you yourself noted), and so I started making music from that angle myself, and posting it on soundcloud: http://soundcloud.com/lagenost I would really appreciate your feedback! Cheers -Lage

Not so bad. Last 12 months were pretty rough though. Hope the bad times are behind me.

What can I say? It's all good! Altough I think I've only listened to like ONE DJ Shadow tune.. once. And I can't even remember Flying Lotus. Madvillain is fantastic, though!

About Me

Comics fan, conlanger, net addict, and ne'er-do-well from Berkeley, CA.

My Last.FM tends to reflect what I listen to at work on my iPod: a stew of hard rock, indie rock, post-rock, various flavors of avant and progressive rock, hipster hip-hop, electronic (esp. jungle and breakcore), some metal...well, just look at the list.

At home I'm more likely to listen to jazz (esp. third stream, West Coast cool, and free) or classical (esp. baroque, modern, and early) on my stereo. But until they come out with a scrobbler for CD players, with a few exceptions that side of my musical taste won't be well reflected here.

My short and long tail are:
