Hiya, I just listened to the title track off Cynic's CBA and noticed there wasn't a single guitar riff on it. Actually there's barely any discernable guitar apart from the mediocre solo section. It's just a shitty, trite song. So my question is, are there any riffs on the other two songs, and how does the title track compare to bones and elves? I fear these guys have completely lost it.. I don't understand how the same people could've written TiA or Focus.

And also, you can put it up the metal-archives if you wish.

Hey man! Thanks a lot for your review. However I have to disappoint you in your faith that the clean vocals are mine. No, I do only the harsh ones. Clean vocals are by Attila Bakos, who is a guest singer, just like he was on Róka Hasa Rádió. Check his neofolk project Woodland Choir on YouTube.

Alright man, thanks. I think that if I really want to enjoy this album, I'll have to give up all expectations and hear it for what it is.

Hey man, how's that new Cynic sounding? I'm wondering if they kept the metal arrangements or if they went more like Wheels Within Wheels
