I would definitely recommend reading "The Dirt", it's the truest account of being in a rock band I've ever read. It was actually written by the members of Motley Crue, so it's a very honest book. I haven't read "Heroin Diaries", though I hear it's a worthy read as well. Sorry for the late reply and no, you weren't bothering me :)
