That was amazing, thank you for sharing! I love performances of "The Chain" from that era, the band dynamic was so tight.

I love Florence! I've liked her for a while now, but I've just been on a binge with her music for the past week or so. "Hurricane Drunk", "Howl" and "Cosmic Love" are my favourites off that album. I used to have some songs by St. Vincent on my iTunes but my laptop broke last August and thus the songs went with it; I haven't got round to getting all the songs back yet. I'm going to download this album! I've heard nothing but good things about it.

You should! I watched it today at school, and I've rekindled my love for it.

Of course, "Love Actually". I'm glad someone actually reads the thing!

I'm a fan of the first half of the album more than the second half but I think it's just a good, completely Lindsey album. And you're spot on with saying it sounds like an 80's album but not a typical 80's album. Like, Tango in the Night tends to be too entrenched int he 80's and I can only handle it in doses. On the other hand, I could listen to Go Insane all day. Do you have a favorite track? Mine is probably "I Must Go". I love how it's a poppy, upbeat song but the lyrics are anything but. heh.

"From the Choirgirl Hotel" without a doubt, it's one of the most intensely sad albums I've ever heard, and written just after her miscarriages. "Spark" is a masterpiece. Thank you, I will check them out, mainly for that beautiful lyric!

I don't know if I could pick a favorite Lindsey album. heh. They kind of all have their own personality so it's hard to compare them. I guess I would say Go Insane is his best album, track to track. I heard so much about Out of the Cradle before listening to it that I think it didn't live up to all of the hype for me. It is a good album, though. Law and Order has some real clunkers but also has Johnny Stew and That's How We Do It In LA which are LB classics for me. I think all of Lindsey's songs on Say You Will are solid. Actually, I think Stevie's songs on that album are some of her best in years. I was never a huge fan of Chris' songs but I do miss the dynamic of the third person.

Since you're listening to him right now, what's your favorite Lindsey album?
