Still Dead track is my favourite from American Beauty. Thomas Newman's top score. Although, if you ever watch Pay It Forward, it seems so similar.

I've actually listened to some of those ones by Brian Eno (1970s right?). I remember discovering him through Heat. I think he's even done some work for Microsoft too. Loving BT's This Binary Universe lately. I will try and listen to more from Brian Eno now. He may not get playtime at airports but thank goodness for music players. Did see Pleasantville earlier this month. I remember reading the concept and it did sound kinda cool. Love how the film evolves to colour through the actions of the characters. Some really neat effects and charming soundtrack too (I have the score soundtrack but not yet listened to the original soundtrack). Randy Newman also did that catchy Toy Story soundtrack too (including songs).

About Me

About Myself:
I'm Gareth, and that's about it. I enjoy much Rock, Folk and Jazz, mainly from the decades of the 1960's and 70's. Pre-produced, computer-designed modern music mainly disinterests me, although I do have a liking for certain blends of both Indie and Alternative Rock, as well as Classic Rock moving into the 1980's generally. For some bizarre reason, it seems to me that once the Soviet Union collapsed, music as a whole took on a rather downward spiral in terms of quality and complexity, but I have hopes that it will one day recover.

Current Favourite Track:
Over the Hills and Far Away - Led Zeppelin

10,000th Track Played:
Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M. - Simon & Garfunkel

20,000th Track Played:
Childhood's End - Pink Floyd
