Okay.. It's fun having a real job and working with a movie producer, only thing is they keep delaying paying me.. It's getting awkward. Also just locked in Tone Bar for my summer range launch. Got a line-up together of Guerre, Fishing, Albatross, Collarbones (DJ set) & Tank. Thoughts? I don't know if my taste is too obscure or whatever..

Ahh I went on schoolies I know how that is. Oh thanks so much for the kind words, I put a lot of time into it. Also you're the only person in the world that would get the Soft Tigers reference. Solid effort. Don't worry I'm also a poor uni student. Although the internship is FINALLY paying off. I'm being hired as film manager and social media manager starting next week. Woo. It's such a strange record label (That also does movies?) – All the bands are really bizarre. Psst qualifications don't mean anything. The real question is what do you want to do?

Haha ohh how did that work out for you? I've heard some pretty crazy stories personally. Also Vietnam must have been amazing.. Sounds like a great trip! I've been good.. The label launched! It makes me happy. Also I'm studying communications now which is working out well. Then today I extended my internship at a record label I'm working at (for free but still!) to 3 months instead of 2. Hopefully when I finish I'll be able to get a job that actually pays money. Money is good.

Hi long lost friend! I hope your travels went well! Also hope you're still making music. Solid gig line-up on the cards. I was going to go to Ty Segall but I had dinner plans. Sad face. I'm heading to Sebadoh though. Potentially with my mother. I'm SO cool.

As an attendee of Belle and Sebastian at The Metro recently it might interest you to know that a full audio recording of the show can be found here: http://fanmaderecordings.blogspot.com/

I shall check it out later, and good luck with your zines! I spend way too much on them at the MCA zine fair every year.

Ha yeah it WAS a pretty impossible question. I did construction management and property.. Which honestly I couldn't be less suited for. People always used to get so surprised when I told them.. Then after awhile I realised I was boxing myself into a profession I had no particular interest in anymore. But the other real reason I dropped out was because I decided to start a T shirt label (I think this answers your other question, but I'm also currently working at a clothing store called farage) which I'm still currently working on launching. Then next year I start doing communications at UTS. Probably going to major in advertising but that is pretty broad and I can still work in the music industry which is ultimately where I want to be, in music promotion or something. Have you written any album reviews or anything?

ha you're pretty much doing the EXACT trip I had planned to do over the same duration of time. Only I had to bail on it due to monetary reasons and probably would have travelled around Laos and Cambodia while there. Okay by monetary reasons I mean I opted to go to europe for 6 weeks with my two best friends instead on a spur of the moment idea but am still super jealous. What parts of China are you visiting? I went to Shanghai and Beijing while I was there and they're both pretty amazing cities. Also what are you going at uniiiiii? You'll NEVER guess what I was doing before I opted to start anew. (That's your que to start guessing, just to clarify)

Oh that's no good. I stalked up a cover of jesus and mary chain you did (I think..?) and it was pretty amazing. you should keep going with it. I find playing the best release. I think I reached the point where I stopped wanting to show anyone my music though, but I'm forcing myself to record more lately. Anyhoo uni music trawling sounds sweet.. I was at UNSW for two and a half years and never thought to.. But I start at UTS next year so hopefully there's plenty of music there to discover.. Thanks so much for the albums.. They're all amazing. Shouldn't have stopped! I'm sending you some songs soooooon.
