As for "Wormwood" i don't compare it with Marduk's older releases (which i have them all) but as an entity of it's own... as for me it's not the luck of blastbeats but the luck of the overall music variety - but that's just me xDD Who knows,maybe after some time and some more listenings i will change my mind (won't be the first time) :) i too like variety in music,the most the better,but it depends though of how i am at the certain time - last week for instance i listened a lot to Funeral Doom stuff (Ea,Funeralium,Remembrance etc etc),nice music but not suitable for every day... On the other side i tend to listen to Hate Forest and Aborted for instance when i want some rage going on or to Deathspell Omega all the time for they combine equally all human emotions :))) That's the good thing about music,hundreds and hundreds of quality bands out there,so you have a massive variety to choose from...
