Dude, I totally hear you. I once heard a numbers station at like 2 in the morning as a sophomore in high school, suffering from insomnia. It creeped me the fuck out. Then years ago, I stumbled on an article on Wikipedia, and my interest launched from there... I particularly like the Lincolnshire Poacher (MI5) and the Swedish Rhapsody. The Swedish Rhapsody is so creepy because it's a little kid's voice

I was looking for stuff to add, and while doing so, I remembered these bizarre recordings I once heard, cryptic messages taken from AM radio "number stations". Supposedly, these frequencies are used to globally broadcast sensitive information to spies, but they are so fucking weird. I was happy to find these recordings on last.fm, and since they aren't commercial, they are all free. So... I recommend checking out and/or adding "The Conet Project" to your list.

How do you like the Thom Yorke album? I thought it was pretty good, but not amazing like so many folks told me.
