It rectifies the problem that nearly all WB-distributed CDs of the 80s/early 90s had of insufficient high/low ranges, resulting in a more resonant bass sound and a crisper drum sound. I have seen some dissenting opinions on the internet, of course, and it's not a perfect remaster, but to me it sounds just fine and is worth the purchase.
