    so, after having listened to the whole remastered disintegration package, I have to say that I am pleased with the remaster given to the album. It rectifies the problem that nearly all WB-distributed CDs of the 80s/early 90s had of insufficient high/low ranges, resulting in a more resonant bass sound and a crisper drum sound. I have seen some dissenting opinions on the internet, of course, and it's not a perfect remaster, but to me it sounds just fine and is worth the purchase.

    indeed I have! I have not given the remastered album a close enough listen yet to determine whether they botched it or not, and haven't listened to the outtakes/rarities disc at all yet, but the rs-remixed version of entreat is sounding reassuringly good to my ears.
