Lee Marvin was pretty sweet. There were a slew of good bands that I'd never heard of before, along with some not so good ones...it was a sleep deprived, but great weekend of tunes. Apparently Adult. put on an amazing set...but I wasn't there to witness it.

Gotcha...Yeah, Lee Marvin is one of the locals that I've wanted to see. Won't be able to catch Adult. unfortunately..I'll be missing the shows on Saturday, but still, I'm not complaining that I'll be able to see 3 other nights of music for 20 bucks. Disappointed to miss Silverghost too..I've heard they're pretty good..

http://eatthiscity.com/?p=5621 Not as sweet as Lolla, but for 4 days of bands being a mere $20...can't really beat that. Mostly local stuff, aside from Art Brut. Lot of those locals though that I've been wanting to see, and am glad to finally get a chance. The shows are basically all over the Majestic complex.

lucky, I've had a couple of opportunities to see Mr. Gillis in the past year or so, I think he performed at the DEMF last year, and has been in the metro area a couple of times, but for whatever reason I wasn't able to see him either. I'm sure you had a great time at that festival though, everyone I know who went really seemed to have a good time

About Me

they call me DIGI

I listen to every type of music **EXCEPT** Contemporary Christian and pop country. Being a former party kid, I am still pretty partial to electronic music. D&B, breakbeats and nu-jazz have to be my favorite genres, but I can still get down to a lot of deep house and of course techno. I'm pretty easy to please unless you decide to throw of a happy hardcore record at four in the morning... or any time for that matter. My musical roots run pretty deep. Most everyone in my family has played a musical instrument or has been in a band. Music is the universal language... we should all learn to embrace it.

Screw it. You dont care.
