Yaaaaaalright mate :) Liking your taste also. I've never listened to my bloody valentine, I will in good time. Check out ulrich Schnauss- he as a music fan was influenced by my bloody valentine. Maybe you'll find an element of them you like in his music, i'm addicted...here's a taste: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjacfNpitlQ

Hang on tho' - Idlewild, Maccabees, Yeah Yeah Yeahs....Ist beginning with R, 2nd with C? Except....Perhaps not.......... Shit, shout-box overspill :) Just to make some use of the space - I've spent so long reviewing your writing style, I haven't had time to listen to anything yet, but I will. Interesting you found 3 Trapped Tigers - I downloaded an EP of theirs b. I liked the name. Yes, alright, I know that's a really stupid reason... :) A boutique CD. Oh God. Still, I *want* one now. Must be the meme, or something :)

Right, so I've just been crawling around on DIS, going thro' parts 1,2 & 3 of mixtape article, but I don't know which is the right one, due to not recognising any name....I tried going by writing style (Yes, me too, plus 'mixed media' art shit) & bands recommended, but *that* didn't work, so...help!!!!!! Happy New etc :)

Sorry for the delay - it was caused by playing 'Feral Parrot' at about 1am, becomming completely paralysed & forgetting how to turn down the volume. But I'm alright now. Sort of. I take it Hatebeak are taking the piss. Quoting Alastair Crowley?? 'Do What Thou Wilt (Shall Be the Whole of the Law)' Yeah, right. A parrot on a loop doesn't constitute the practice of 'Magick', altho' what does, f*%@k knows. I'd been working all night & was virtually hallucinating anyway, but I loved the comment/advert for the tattoo &body piercing place in 'Magna, Utah - Next to: The Filling Station...' I'd *love* to go there. Sigh. Yes, please link me, that'd be great. I'm amazed & impressed anyone gets payed for any web journalism. Truly. Nice. Please excuse more than usually rambling shout. Don't know about you, but the last week has definitely taken it's toll and I'm flattened...talking of which(?) You can manage 20 *whole* pages of Mrs Dalloway? I* hate* V.W. Christ!! Oh yes, Happy Christmas :)

Oh yes, Morning Dove White was a cd b. it fell on my foot the other day when a stack collapsed. But the band's called 'One Dove' & has a bird in it :) Also have you got any reccs? I'm suffering from a need for something *different*...but prob. a bit similar : )

'Fruit-faced' paintings? Excellent :) I take it you mean Archimbaldo? Alright, so he wasn't fabulous but he was weird, and that's what counts. Also, I bet he never did an installation or 'performance piece'. The er, 'best' bit of performance art I've seen (ie the one that made me laugh most) was stuck up on youtube. It was called 'Fountains' & involved this (ironic mysogyny here) bird appearing in different coloured floaty dresses and being gracefully ill in a colour to match. The best bit was the 'artist's statement' (can't say that without spitting mentally) where she said that she'd done this 'to show the beauty within'. Sweeeeet :)As a former art collage detainee I've got snarlingly low tolerance in this dept. Clientele album not great, really:( Pete D. Puppy dog eyes? Are you sure? Hamster sculpted in cheese, maybe:) Don't go for puppy dog blokes, & I think you're being sensationally hard on Kinks b-sides. Tick sheet plan. Prob. bad idea b. of chronic lack of paper in the Ladies:)

'Bird-related Band' - I really liked that, until I realised you weren't being dead Northern. She was a nice hairdresser, it was just this one issue that got sticky, but I managed to head her off by asking if she'd ever heard of The Clienetele....oddly, she hadn't. Oh, and by telling her that Pete Docherty couldn't be sexy, because he looked like a piece of cheese, melting. Altho' the haircut wasn't great. The Cranes are a bird-related band, but that seems more unlikely than the Swans. Also Morning Dove White - altho' they may be an album....No, I'll definitely turn up to watch you smash a computer and record it, so no need to be pre-emptively annoyed - but is that music or an Installation? Artistically speaking? :)
