pronsato is one of those where it's hit and miss but the hits are so exciting that it turns an album from being only ok in statistical quality to being one of the best things i've heard in the whole year. the last two long ones are big snoozers and theres rough patches here and there, but 'what they wish', 'different faces', and 'too many hellos' are basically perfect. current list of favorites lists as: 3 ambient records: Alva Noto - Xerrox vol 2 Lull - Like a Slow River Machinefabriek - Gris Gris, circlesquare - songs about dancing and drugs, which i like better as the junior boys album that could have been group bombino - guitars from agadez vol 2 which was this random nigerian record vurt told me to get onto and he was right to do so eluvium - life through bombardment, somehow never heard of him, so this collection of all his releases in one is a good intro and i'm liking it a whole lot.
