Don't be disappointed if i don't like a recommendation, if you want me to like something i probably won't. That being said, i can enjoy almost anything, but i love no style or genre unconditionally - there's plenty of mundane and bland, or just very bad music out there. I don't follow charts or trends, but i'm not afraid to love 'trendy' music. Its often popular for a good reason, so why deny great music for that?
(Almost) all artists, even the ones i adore, produce crap once in a while. For the simple fact that they've NEVER disappointed me (so far), i would say The Chemical Brothers or Muse are my favorite artist. The Prodigy have produced my favorite album [Music For the Jilted Generation] and my greatest disappointment [Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned].
In Flames don't deserve to be my #1 artist. I just grew very bored of music in general for six months or so prior to discovering last.fm and they were literally all i would listen to, day and night. Similarly Nobuo Uematsu should be up there too but upon joining last.fm i discovered i had him incorrectly tagged.
Bad Tagging is Bad. I've purged 5000+ plays over several artists. Seeing the 'bad tag' image on my top pages is too embarassing :)

I don't listen to enough: Radiohead / Red Hot Chilli Peppers / Bjork / Faithless
Music not well represented by my library: The Offspring, Blink-182, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Nirvana (my pop/power-punk and nu-metal days are -mostly- a thing of the past)
Rob Dougan needs to produce more music. please.
KoRn need to throw in the towel
Marilyn Manson needs to re-discover his creativity.
Kings of Leon need to be less trendy (mildly annoying now)
Nightwish are still awesome with Annette. Die, you hating masses.
