The Klaxon ist etwas seltsam, die ersten drei Songs gehen schon eher in die später weiter fortgesetzte Americana Richtung, dann folgen vier Songs die auch auf Green is the Sea Platz gefunden hätten, dann Bullet Head wieder Americana und dann The Flatlands ein klassischer Trees Song und einer ihrer besten überhaupt. Aber der rote Faden fehlt mir da etwas, wie er bei Green is the Sea erkennbar ist. Ist das Metamorphosen-Album für mich, nicht schlecht, aber Green is the Sea, Rag and Bone Man oder Angelfish sind mir da lieber.

You are so lucky to have seen him live, I really want to go to a Morrissey concert but he doesn't come to Canada. I'm really happy to have found the best part of the 80's because most music doesn't speak to you the same way The Smiths' music does. I think it's amazing how the same songs that teens in the 80's related to are still relevant nowadays. The Smiths have changed my life in so many ways, but it's still so hard to find other fans that are my age.
