Hello Last.FM friend! I've relaunched my music blog http://blogs.loughboroughecho.net/soundadvice/ so I thought I'd rudely spam all my contacts on here. I'd appreciate a click if you have a minute, and feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We attended the Kunt gig on a mission of epic fail meaning that my brother and his wife and myself stopped in the biggest shit hole ever (I actually called Environmental Health) and in an ill-equipped venue where not all of us could see and I watched mostly through a mirror and the gap between some bloke's head. =( Enjoyed what I could see but felt bad the other two couldn't see sod all. Scarily, when I went to buy pin badges for my collection, Kunt remembered me...I know not whether that is a good thing or a freaky thing but he was friendly as before so I guess I didn't traumatise him in Nottingham. Btw: your turn at Lyric Wars! =D

    A TEAR OF BLOOD

every morning when i look out at my estate and the peacocks and the peacock-hunting lawnmowers and the bitches sipping on peacock blood cocktails and the peacock and bitch eating demons and the pits of fire and thunder that surround the whole thing, the smile on my face is all satan needs to let him know how much i love him.

Yes, you are accurate on the date. Arse Full of Chips were fun...will forever have an image of a naked bloke on a barrel burned into my brain. =P My big regret was being unable to carry out a coherent conversation with them post-show. I tried to be tough and do a late night without caffeine. One thing I learned from that night is to just grow a spine and admit I need a perfectly legal drug. Although Arse Full of Chips were good, I felt that some of their songs were tackling things I'd heard already from cruder Kunt, such as songs about Wacko Jacko. Did however love Zoophilia and Trapped In The Cellar immensely. =) Hopefully seeing Kunt in Birmingham with my brother and his wife, who are also Kunt fans in November. We will also go and have a chat with Kunt if possible and this time, I'll ensure my brain is fed the stimulants it needs. Kunt may have thought I was pissed even though I only had a lemonade. I'm not aggressive. I'm sure he's dealt with worse souls who are genuinely pissed.

That explains why there were only remixes when I searched! =) Btw: did you make the Kunt gig? I went to see him in Nottingham a few months ago and it was a scream! =D He's actually a pleasant (though profane) guy to speak to. I expected him to have used his arsehole as a cunt and inserted his cranium up there due to being a minor internet star but he was nothing like that. It was an all night thing with different bands and due to my physical impairments, I had to take a camping stool cos I can't stand for 4 hours. Had the following conversation: Kunt: "what the fuck is that?" Me: "It's a stool cos I can't stand for hours." Kunt: "You have my permission to lay a stool anywhere." LOL! At the end of the night when I picked up a Fucksticks record for my brother, upon informing Kunt it was my first evening of live music got told "I hope I was gentle with you as it was your first time." Got the crowd to help sing cos he was flued up. Even said he was too ill to give suck jobs! Poor Kunt.=P

I have tried to find some of your Neon Sewer music to listen to out of curiosity but I just can't seem to find it. Could you please point me in the correct direction? Btw: you heard the new Kunt and The Gang album? As one would expect, it is all seven shades of wrong but also of genius! =D

About Me

'ello.

My name is Stephen and I'm kinda daft, I guess. I'm a lifelong er who got into and (and any old number of related subgenres) via and sometime in the 90s. Really enjoying the fact that there's quite a thriving scene for and gigs here in the East Mids.
Now that I'm getting on a bit, I've also started to add a bit of to my musical diet, too.

Sometimes I would make barely-tolerable electronic music as boki, usually involving samples of people shouting because that is big and clever. There are other bokis, though, so I retired that moniker after this and became Neon Sewer.

I usually host Cook'd & Bomb'd Radio between 9 and 11pm (UK time) on Mondays, in case you're looking at this around about that time and wonder what I'm playing at.

The vocal's not always focal.
