Thx for the add, love ur music taste... I also found ur "about me" very interesting! I'm ALL OVER the map when it comes to my music taste I literally love just about everything and anything but there is always one constant in my life and that is my fav band 30 Seconds to Mars especially their new album!!!! :D

About Me

My music tastes run in phases and extremes. For quite a long time, I've been a fan of indie and underground (i.e., more indie than indie now that indie is no longer indie) rock and pop. Also, I tend to like music in two styles: acoustic and electronic. (I told you, a fan of extremes.)

Prior to this "indie phase", I was all about "mainstream emo": Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Saves the Day, and so forth. The transition came, I believe, when Straylight Run finally released their long-awaited debut album, which was such a departure from the mainstream, but I fell so immediately in love with it. Shortly after, I proclaimed that "emo is dead" and started listening to bands such as Great Northern and Okkervil River, thanks to my then-recent discovery of Indiefeed, a "one-song-per-episode" podcast available in several genres, including individual indie rock and indie pop podcasts.
