Badając drugą stronę przypadku: są i takie, w których możemy powiedzieć "welcome in". "You're welcome in my house" - taki zwrot jest poprawny. Jeżeli chodzi o kraj - już nie.

Dla Ciebie może tak. Owy zwrot jest niepoprawny i świadczy o ubogim angielskim. Prawdopodobnie to "in" jest ingerencją powstałą w wyniku złego przetłumaczenia - wątpię, że w tym wypadku to sprawa polaczków, jednak my mamy swoje "shoe number" etc.
