If you liked GBK, you should try Necros Christos also. There's a lot of evil going on there too. Even better with a spliff ;)

About Me

Plug for a metal blog that I enjoy:

http://thatshowkidsdie.com/

If anyone has some progressive death metal recommendations, I'd like to hear them. Some filters though:
- Not looking for alternative metal like Opeth.
- Not looking for crazy/avant-garde/technical death like Gorguts, Atheist, !T.O.O.H.!, etc...
- Am looking for prog death of the Chuck Schuldiner variety, circa Human all the way to The Fragile Art of Existence. Melodies, riffs, hooks, with dashes of brilliance, the music must be allowed to breathe!, etc.
- Some examples of the music I'm after: Stargazer, Dead Letter Opener, Neath... interestingly enough, all three of those bands are Australian.
