Well Florence was magnificent, Delphic were rad. Où est le swimming pool? were my discovery of the summer and seeing them live for the first time was something! Too many djs and soulwax were total lust. Erol Alkan was insane. Klaxons were great as ever. Mgmt boring boring boring..Jack penate was good, Bat for lashes were really good...I'm probably forgetting a lot of people ..

ahah maybe yes! And yes just back from Bestival and it was the perfect ending to the summer! I did see Dirty projectors..well in fact I heard them much more than saw...The tent was tiny and ridiculously crowded! I liked it though! How was yours? Saw any good bands recently?

they are somewhere above the middle of the 'must see before dead or into nu-metal' list. DIM will be a proper holdable zine one day when we can be bothered to transcribe interviews and draw comics and pick pretty paper and do general zine-y things like this. also listen to diplo's 'florida' because it exemplifies 'meandering' to the point of jazz-fuelled innnsaaannnity.

wow yes, i infer that st albans' scene isn't exactly Thriving and Abundant. dirty projectors live would be fairly trippy, i assume, they're pretty maniacal 'on record'. me and my friend have this blog that no-one ever reads called DIM, (www.20000dbunderthesea.blogspot.com) and like, we write about a lot of the music you listen to so you could 'check it out' if you ever get mega bored.

okay wow cool, are you 'from round here' (ie bedford). i find pop sensibilities are the best kinds unless you are like, HEALTH or 'drone' or something. dirty projectors = Yes. new album = not for Time.
