Hey, Rich! Great hearing from you. I couldn't get that link to work, though. Sorry.

This is one of the funnest radios I've listened to!!! I may not have multiple personalities in a psychological sense, but I certainly do in a musical sense and your taste speaks to my favorite musical personality of all. Thanks for putting this together!

Yep! I actually met Yma a few years ago. Never got to hear her sing live, but she was a really interesting woman, boy howdy.

Hey Rich, good to hear from you. I hope all is well. Though my profile may not reveal it, I'm a huge Fats Waller fan from way back. It's good to see that you are, too (though I shouldn't be surprised). I keep meaning to add more Waller into my iTunes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Howdy! Glad to hear you're doin' good. Sorry I missed "Raccoon Hank's" show. I was away from the ol' box. I'll catch 'm later, though. Was it he done put you in a Western Swing kinda mood? Yee-haw!

(Continued from Previous Shout...) When the local Beautiful Music station switched to Lite Rock, Bob Jones jumped on the Genre. The result is a Fundamentalist Christian radio staion that, occasionally, plays some Great Cocktail Lounge Music. They do a great job of avoiding it, though, by concentrating on Melachrino and Mantovanti.

We've a similar situation around here. Bob Jones University operates a radio station called WMUU (for World's Most Unusual University) that was, for years, a quality Classical Music radio outlet. As such, however, they were in competition with the local Public Radio station.

Medium? WOW! Gettin' better! Yeah, Ronnie Aldrich is okay but, like I said, pretty standard stuff. WSNJ looks neat! I'll have to check 'em out during the Evening Easy Candlelight Serenade sometime.
