There's lots to do in Vancouver but it's mostly either too expensive or too hidden. People here are all about their hipster cred, you know? they're really into being vegan, doing yoga, wearing head-to-toe hemp outfits, and fixing their own fixies... and everybody else is just obsessed with hockey. Other than that, it just rains a lot. The mountains and ocean make it really pretty on the rare occasion that you aren't staring at your feet trying to avoid puddles. And there's good sushi. That's really all there is to Vancouver. I like it here most of the time. I go to shows (the music kind) and poetry slams every now and then, and hang out at bars and cafes not ordering much and staying too long because I'm poor. I go to school and work. I wish I went to comedy shows, I've only ever been to a couple, people here aren't really into it. or I just need new friends. Wanna come be my friend? I like laughs too.
