About Me
I got kicked out of university with an honours bachelor of arts degree and shoved into another (shady) institution.
I wrote a CanCon music policy thesis. Still more editing to do. I expect that will take two more years of supplemental research and clean up. In a word, CanCon requirements as we know them now must go, MAPL must go, and FVM must go. CAB, meanwhile, should seppuku itself. And public funding? It should go toward acts of participatory citizenship and cultural citizenship: more local and street music fests and more engagement, less FACTOR/MusicAction.
Stompin' Tom Connors knew all this by 1976. Brilliant guy. I look up to him.
