About Me

Dutch band a balladeer released their debut album Panama in 2006. First single 'Swim with Sam' was a radio hit and turned out to be a Dutch classic. Follow-up single 'Fortune Teller' was well received as well and in August of that year a balladeer played at Lowlands.

The band won an Essent Award as well as a 'Zilveren Harp'. On 1 September 2008 the second album Where Are You, Bambi Woods? came out and was later nominated for an Edison. Through the years a balladeer opened up for Keane (twice), Live, Saybia (nine times), The Feeling, Maria Mena, Sarah Bettens, Beth Hart (three times), Gabriel Rios, BLØF and many more.
