As for the recommendation, I know some pretty good Polish prog metal bands such as Division By Zero, Animations and Indukti. If you like Animals as Leaders' stuff, you should definately check out Periphery. Another crazy mind-blowing young band from Maryland, and they share the same guitarist with Animals as Leaders. Also, you can try bands like Isis, Rosetta or Cult of Luna, these post-metal bands got huge inspirations from Neurosis. Btw, how is Tomahawk? Someone recommended them to me but I never got a chance to listen.
