Welcome, kind stranger who has chanced to stumble upon my somewhat magnificent page.

I play the piano, mostly. My piano's name is Amadeus and I believe I onced loved him. He's an antique, pre-19th century, with broken inner strings, keys, pedals, and severe out-of-tuneness (hence the lack of self-recorded videos). Upon being presented with a Steinway [by my music teacher, who is an absolute angel] to play on for a grand total of about half an hour, I was quickly disillusioned and vowed to practice harder. {My friends objected to the idea of anyone practicing the piano more than 3 hours a day on weekdays and considerably more on weekends, fearing for my social life. But fear not, dear ones, for I do not even have a social life.}

A few months ago, however, I took up the viola. The instrument I first learnt on, Johann, has abandoned me at this point in my life, and I am pretending not to miss him (cheap though he was). Friderich is more beautiful, and although I am self taught, my music teacher seems to believe I deserve him.

I only hope he will still feel that way once the general welfare of his eardrums have fallen to ruin, thanks to me.
