Dude, that's fucking righteous! I can't think of a more incredible mind blowing band, they are probably my biggest modern inspiration. The sounds they generated are other-wordly, a whole other level of amazing. I definitely feel like they are one of the most important entities i've ever come across. That is fucking rad that you have that, such a good record. If you ever decide on parting with that, or want to trade-i wouldn't mind framing that.

Yes, Michael Haneke is brilliant, probably one of my favorite directors of all time. Based on your taste, 'The Piano Teacher' should really be next on your list to watch. It will not disappoint. Salo was pretty good, I didn't think it was too disturbing or brutal though - but definitely enjoyable on a laid back evening with tea. I will check out those films you recommended within the next week or two...they sound promising. A Serbian Film was probably the most twisted i've seen. I prefer Haneke's films though when it comes to favoritism...they are just so offbeat and amazing. How about yourself?

Ah, well I can't say that I am surprised - we seem to have very similar taste in music and albums. It perplexes me that someone would say that Judas Iscariot is only a 'Darkthrone ripoff' - he is a much better songwriter in all ways. Like you said, really melodic and memorable riffs and unlike anything from that time. Well, the one in Germany was merely a 'maybe', and it looks like that is a no since i'm going to MDF and GOS. And I work, that's how. HOLY HELL - did I just see Irreversible on here that you posted? I love that film. Have you seen Funny Games, A Serbian Film or The Piano Teacher? I am so excited now.

Excellent choice. My favorites for 2011, though i'm sure that I am missing a few: Negative Plane - Stained Glass Revelations Craft - Void Taake - Noregs Vaapen Blaze of Perdition - The Hierophant Helheim - Heidindomr ok Motgangr Aosoth - III Burzum - Fallen Nightbringer - Hierophany of an Open Grave Krallice - Diatoma Absu - Abzu How about yourself?

Yes, they did put on a powerful performance. It was very disorganized. Lair of Necromancy is brilliant; of course, my only complaint is I wish it were longer, which isn't much of a complaint. What did you think of it? They are the sole reason I am trekking out to MDF this year. Ahh, that is such a difficult question. It really depends on my mood and how recently i've listened to each album...but probably 'Fuck the Universe' since it was the first I got by them...pure mental attachment. Everything flows so nicely, and it is so hateful. The riffs leave a permanent mark in my mind. How about yourself?

They are one of my all time favorites as well. I was fairly surprised to see that Void got so much criticism...at least in the area I live. Their music is really dark, well produced but still with an edge...and the rock influences are much more apparent in comparison to other black metal bands i've come across. As for shows, I got back from RoD not too long ago. It wasn't bad at all, but I wouldn't to anything else they organize personally.
