I guess Sire was the label for the US because actually their records were released on Creation in the UK. I do own vinyls, but... I never listen to them. I might have to get a player, but most of the time I listen to music while I'm using my computer. ^^

Oh,yes of course history makes the tunes much more meaningful. And no they're not on vinyl haha I didn't put it right,a friend of mine had these 3 compilations on digital format and was kind enough to make me a copy.I have a really hard time to find the records I want here.I was lucky enough to find the first Ride album but it wasn't a creation release it was released at sire,I bought it anyway. The only way I can find any rare releases is to go to some strange, isolated second-hand record stores. On the other hand I've never bought vinyls yeh I'm such a loser,my grandfather had a turntable, but after his death my grandma gave it away,it was a very huge and old one but since noone used it there was no point keeping it,I missed the chance ha. Oh,boy I talk way to much, hope you're not asleep by now. Happy Christmas Kyle x

I agree, they're a little more than just post-punk, incorporating the dreamier, more imaginative side. I do like that, and I'll check them out! I love artistic melancholy and distress. I actually was giving Love & Rockets a careful listen before you told me of them; definete kudos! They're absolutely wonderful, in the way they not only incorporate gothic and romantic strains some kind of Indian psychadelic mess I really enjoy! I'm surprised they're not more popular...definetly I'll give Slowdive a listen too, thank you so much for all this advice and encouragement! It's definetly appreciated, considering I personally, don't find many who listen to the same kind of music.
