yea, i noticed your library is massive. I can't say I've listened to that many bands, and I am definitely interested in trying new stuff out, but I by all means will still enjoy the stuff I have already listened to and like. call it ignorant or boring sure, but I like the music, so therefore I will enjoy listening to it until I dislike it or want something more. I don't know, I am boring I guess with music. Or maybe I see that I dislike music for dumb reasons, and in all reality, I should listen to it more to be able to actually hear it, and not just listen to it. There is so much more to music like animal collective that I pick up on every time I listen to it. Idk, It's cool if you ask me. Music that is. Music is cool.

yea, i think at this point in time, it is highly overrated. most of the listeners listen to it simply because of the image they get from being listeners of radiohead. initially i was turned onto them by a radiohead fan and friend of mine, jamie. that boy was one of the legit fans, at least i think he was. and when i first started listening, i didnt even realize there was an image associated with them that was 'cool' so i wasn't giving them a try for that. the angstyness of it kind of bothers me too, and ive found that there aren't many moments where i feel keenly interested to listen to them.

that is good stuff. i mean, i have that album and all and ive listened to it, i guess ive just never really gotten into it. what is your preferred animal collective album? and i understand completely with liking music right off or not. i didnt like radiohead for like the first half year i listened to them, but they grew on me. idk. i can understand why you wouldnt like arcade fire at first, or tallest man at all. i can see how it could maybe get boring.

fair enough. yea im not a huge fan of new moon, but that is just because it was one of the albums of his that i didnt really look into much. I got a hold of that after i went through my kick for mr smith. I like XO a lot though, and one other that i dont recall the name. and yea, i can understand why it might not catch someone's attention.
